A lawyer by training, CH'NG Poh Tiong is publisher of The Wine Review, since 1991, the oldest wine publication in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and China. He is also founder of www.VinoVideos.com, the world's first Chinese/English bi-lingual website devoted entirely to wine videos.
Ch'ng also publishes, since 2000, the world's first Chinese Bordeaux Guide. He is also founder of ICCCW - International Congress of Chinese Cuisine & Wine, and publisher of Chinese Cuisine & Wine. A columnist for the United Kingdom's Decanter magazine, Ch'ng is also Regional Chair, Middle East, Far East & Asia, Decanter World Wine Awards.
Ch'ng Poh Tiong also writes a column in China's Wine Life magazine and a blog in Sina.com, one of China's biggest internet portals. He is also author of the bi-lingual Chinese/English book 108 Great Chinese Dishes Paired and e-book at www.108chinesepairings.com.
Ch'ng Poh Tiong is wine consultant to Singapore's FairPrice and Finest supermarkets. He also holds a post-graduate Certificate in Chinese Art from theSchool of Oriental & African Studies, University of London. His paternal ancestry is from Hui'an, Fujian Province, and on his maternal side, Shunde, Guangdong Province.
